Professional profile

About

A brief professional profile focused on teaching, subject knowledge, academic education and reflective classroom practice.

I teach Mathematics and Science at The Regis School, United Learning, while completing a salaried school-based QTS and PGCE route through Bath Spa University. My current work is centred on planning, teaching, assessment, behaviour routines, safeguarding, adaptive teaching and reflective professional development in a school context.

My wider background includes Mathematics support in a SEN setting, homework and tutoring provision, undergraduate course facilitation and foundation mathematics teaching for international engineering students. These experiences have helped me develop a teaching style that values clear explanation, careful sequencing, structured practice and appropriate support for students with different starting points.

Academically, I hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics with Distinction from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics from Pandit Deendayal Energy University. My academic interests include applied mathematics, mathematical physics, differential equations, numerical methods, mechanics, relativity and mathematical modelling. I have also contributed to published research in mathematics and mathematical modelling.

My professional aim is to keep developing as a thoughtful Mathematics and Physics educator, contributing to strong teaching across schools, sixth forms and higher education while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and a clear commitment to student progress.
