Teacher of Mathematics and Science — The Regis School, United Learning

Plan and deliver structured Mathematics and Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, using clear modelling, questioning, mini-whiteboards and independent practice to support understanding and progress.

Salaried SCITT QTS and PGCE Route

School-based teacher training with PGCE through Bath Spa University. Successfully passed both PGCE assignments; final PGCE award outcome expected July 2026. QTS expected, 2026.

Taught KS3 Mathematics, including a Year 7 nurture group and Year 9 Foundation and Higher sets. Developed experience in adapting explanations, scaffolding learning and understanding progression towards GCSE and A-level Mathematics.

Designed and delivered a 30-hour undergraduate course covering Lagrangian and Hamiltonian dynamics, Special Relativity, conservation laws and derivations including E = mc².

Taught foundational mathematics to twelve international engineering students, using visual explanations and applied examples to strengthen mathematical understanding and support transition into engineering study.

Supported public science engagement by explaining astronomical ideas and guiding visitors through planetarium displays, building early experience in communicating scientific concepts clearly to non-specialist audiences.
